'The Williamsburg Sampler is a stately eighteenth-century plantation style, six bedroom, three-story brick Colonial. The house and its setting create an effect of elegance and harmony. This exquisite home is rich in warmth and atmosphere, so be prepared to be at home and relax in style. The home is decorated with antiques, pewter, and American samplers and has a garden sitting area. The guest rooms have queen size four-poster beds, and the suites have either king or queen size beds. Only Virginia bed and breakfast to receive a proclamation from the governor as Inn of the Year. The inn was called the “Triple Crown of Hospitality” by The Virginia Gazette/Williamsburg Magazine and received compliments from Arno Schmidt, retired executive chef of The Waldorf-Astoria.
