Newport House is Williamsburg's most historic B&B. It was designed in 1756, built 1987, and furnished completely in the period, including four-poster canopy beds. Each guest room can accommodate up to three people. Breakfast includes authentic colonial recipes. Every Tuesday evening, colonial dancing takes place in the ballroom. Beginners and spectators are welcomed. The B&B is located only five hundred yards from the historic area. The host is a historic author and a retired museum director. Household children. Travel agency receives commission from inn.
