This beautiful Victorian home offers inviting elegance in a wooded setting. Hardwood floors, leaded-glass windows, and a wraparound porch add to the ideal surroundings. Rooms are complete with antiques, cozy wing chairs, private baths, and queen-sized beds. Two suites are available. The first one reproduces the serenity of the
Northwoods. It is a replica of the inside of a log cabin with a stone-mantle gas fireplace, visible from the two-person Jacuzzi and the bedroom. The second suite features the same amenities and is decorated with the flair of the late nineteenth century. A hand-painted mural transforms one room into a canopied tree loft. Swim in the heated pool with its mural of a sunken Greek ship surrounded by a rainbow of fish, or walk half of a block to Lake Michigan beach and enjoy spectacular sunsets. Bicycles are available for exploring the scenic lakeshore. During the winter, cross-country ski, hike along wooded paths, or visit Saugatuck. A cottage with a fireplace is also available. Small private parties are welcomed. Travel agency receives commission from inn.
