These well-equipped private cottages, with plenty of historic charm, are scattered across the peaceful, landscaped grounds of one of English Louisiana’s earliest plantations. The antebellum main house, still home to descendants of the original family, is open for touring from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. A swimming pool, extensive gardens, and a pond are on the premises. All cottages have porches or decks overlooking the pond or steep, wooded ravines. Guided nature walks and ballooning trips are available by reservation. Travel agency receives commission from inn.
