- Rooms: 4 guest rooms and
3 suites. All have private baths, phones with modem lines, and cable
television. 4 guest rooms and 1 suite have whirlpools. 3 guest rooms and 3
suites have fireplaces. and 3 guest rooms have VCRs.
- Rates: $90-$150/weekdays. $160-$225/weekends. Seasonal variations. Travel packages available. Discounts offered for children and extended and midweek stays. 50% deposit required.
- Meals: Full breakfast served on Saturdays and Sundays. Continental breakfast served on weekdays. Sherry, tea, soft drinks, and snacks are always available.
- Credit cards: Most
major cards accepted.
- Minimum stay: 3 nights for holidays and special events. 2 nights for weekends.
- Cancellations: If notice given less than 2 weeks in advance, entire amount of stay will be charged unless room can be rebooked. 10% processing fee for all cancellations.
- Smoking: Not
permitted.
- Children: Ages 6 and older welcome Sunday through Thursday nights only.
- Pets: Not

Enjoy the splendor of yesteryear in this
magnificent center-chimney colonial listed on the National Historic Register. Guest rooms are romantically furnished in period style, featuring four-poster and canopy beds, working fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, reading chairs,
cable TV, phone/modem lines, air conditioning, and private baths. The home boasts fine original details, including wide-board floors, hand-hewn beams, wainscoting, a corner cupboard, a beehive oven, and six working fireplaces. A formal breakfast is served on fine china in the elegant dining
room with fireplace. Built by Deacon Timothy Pratt in 1746, the house served as a private school in the 1790s.
Guests may relax in the yard and gardens, in a hammock, or in a two-century-old maple tree with a swing. Area attractions include theaters, churches, town green activities, the North Cove historic district,
spas, parks, quaint shops, Saybrook Point Park, the General William Hart House Museum, the coastal bicycle loop, Fort Saybrook Monument Park, lighthouses, the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, Gillette
Castle, outlet malls, and New England villages to explore. The inn is 100
miles from Boston and from New York City and one mile to beaches, lighthouses,
cruises, a park, waterfront dining, and golf. Small private parties are welcomed. Travel agency receives commission from inn.
