The J. Patrick House is perfect for a romantic getaway. It is surrounded by tall Monterey pines, country gardens, and water fountains. The main log house has one guestroom, named Clare. A garden and passionflower-covered archway leads to seven additional rooms in the carriage house. Each room has antique furniture, a window seat, and a woodburning fireplace. Guests will enjoy being surrounded by Irish country comfort and amenities. Guests may also choose to enjoy a relaxing in-room massage. Each morning, a delicious full breakfast is served in the Garden Room. The meal begins with fresh-squeezed orange juice and a hot beverage. A starter of local fruit is served with homemade granola, fresh local raisins, and delicious yogurt. A hot entree follows with fare such as apple pie, bread pudding with crème fraîche, blintzes with ollieberry jam, and chili corn soufflé. Around town, savor the cuisine of Cambria’s famous restaurants and the area’s internationally recognized wineries. Discover art galleries, antique shops, and quaint gift stores. Tour the remarkable Hearst Castle. Experience the beautiful countryside. Hike, bike, or kayak. Explore the shoreline, visit the
tidepools, or watch the fascinating elephant seals, sea otters, and whales. Innkeepers will help plan excursions. Small private parties are welcomed.
