Innkeeper Alice June says, “I give you so much more than just a key.” The Chateau Victorian is a house of love, and guests will notice the romantic feeling in the air. All of the rooms have queen-sized beds and private tiled bathrooms with tiled stall showers. One bathroom, however, has a clawfoot tub with an overhead shower. Each room has a working fireplace and its own heating system, which the guest controls. Rooms are decorated in individual color schemes especially selected for each room. Guests may enjoy a breakfast of fresh fruit, coffee, tea, croissants, fruit juices, and muffins in the lounge dining area, on the secluded deck, or on the brick patio. The city of Santa Cruz has so much to offer the visitor. The chateau is only a block away from the beautiful beach, which stretches for nearly a mile from the mouth of the San Lorenzo River to beyond the Municipal Wharf. The world-famous casino and boardwalk, the Municipal Pier, and many fine restaurants are also nearby. Small private parties are welcomed.
