The McAdams, who are experienced hoteliers, built Fairways Lodge in 1991 above Tobermory, from where it has a beautiful view of the bay. The lodge is also right in the middle of the town’s nine-hole golf course. Reduced prices at the golf course are available for Fairways guests who stay two nights or longer. The five letting rooms are well appointed. Besides en suite facilities, there are hair-dryers, heated towel rails, televisions, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Five rooms are on the ground floor. Breakfast is served in the cheerful dining room, which leads in to a sunny conservatory and patio where residents are welcome to sit and enjoy the view over the bay and beyond at any time of day. The McAdams are a very friendly and knowledgeable couple who are happy to provide advice on the many places of interest to be found on Mull.
