Melrose House is ideal for those wanting to stay in a quiet, residential location, with central London only twenty minutes away by train. This Victorian villa is decorated to a high standard and kept spotlessly clean by owner Frances Roberts. Four of the five letting bedrooms have en suite showers, while the twin has a large private bathroom. Breakfast is taken at a large shared table in the dining room, and includes boiled eggs, muffins, yogurts, cheese and ham. Or, a full cooked breakfast is available at £2.50. Mrs. Roberts is happy to suggest places for dinner. A conservatory looks out over the attractive garden with its pond and waterfall. The house is well placed for visits to Greenwich (and the Millennium Dome) and Crystal Palace Park, or guests may take that short train ride into the heart of the capital. The B&B is opened all year except on Christmas.
